Does anyone know of any greyhound rescues near fort wayne, IN that find new homes for greyhounds?
I'm willing to travel a considerable distance, but I would like a website so I can view pics of the dogs before considering adopting.

No,but it shouldn't be hard to do a web search for"Greyhound Rescue in Indiana" and then narrow it down to your area. While you can look at photos online, they want to meet you in person before you adopt a dog.

Try the Greyhound Club of America website. Here are some up for adoption in your area in MO. http://www.greyhoundsgalore.com/ Petfinder.com has some up for adoption in you area and not too far from you. http://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?animal_type=Dog&pet_breed=Greyhound&location=fort+wayne%2C+indiana&startsearch=Search

No, looks like Indianapolis is the closest city that has bar tending classes honestly, this is said every day on Yahoo! Answers: bar tending school is generally considered a waste of $$$ and you are better off learning on the job or buying a book and hosting a few partiies. one of these prospects is much more expensive: spend $500+, learn some basic stuff, start a job as a bar back, and learn what you need to know anyway save $500+, start a job as a barback and learn what you need to know

maybe the bus or a plane. Not driving of course.

If you plan to go by Train - from Albuquerque to Chicago is $172 one way, from Chicago to Fort Wayne you would have to find other way to get there than train, it is about 200 miles. but you could rent a car in the train station. You do not say whether this is one way or round trip, but this is a relatively cheap way to go, pretty fast. Car rental would be around ~$35 per day. So you could do it for just over $200. If you were to take the car - your own or rent - it would be 1405 miles, which would take ~24 hours to drive and if you used $0.30 per mile, that would be $421.50 - if it was your car, and car rental $35 per day.

Jobs in traditional brick and mortar travel agencies are scarce. And they don't pay very well. I don't know about the job scene in Ft. Wayne, but I do know you can become a travel agent ANYWHERE if you are willing to be an entrepreneur. The "secret" is to become a home-based travel agent, which you can do for little or no money. What's more you can do it very quickly. You can be set up in your own business and start selling travel in less than a week. It's not for everyone however. You must be the proverbial "self-starter" and be willing to go out into the community and develop your client base. But if that sounds like you, the rewards and the personal satisfaction can be considerable.
